Dr. Meghan Woods is a registered doctoral psychologist (SK #969) with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists and has her Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE), which allows her to diagnose psychological disorders. She practices in Adult Clinical Psychology.
Dr. Woods completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Regina, during which she completed her Pre-doctoral Residency in the Department of Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Woods is a member of the Saskatchewan Psychological Society and the Association for Contextual Behavioural Science. She has experience in community-based mental health settings, including community mental health teams, hospital-based psychological care focused on recovery from physical illness, and rural psychological services.
Dr. Woods works with individuals ages 18 and older, and her expertise encompasses evidence-based treatments such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), prolonged exposure (PE), and behavioral activation. She addresses a wide range of psychological concerns, with a particular focus on ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Psychotic Disorders. Using empirically supported techniques, she is dedicated to helping clients navigate these challenges. Additionally, she provides services focusing on development of flexible and effective boundaries to assist clients with managing difficult interpersonal relationships.
