Dr. Owens is a registered doctoral psychologist (SK #714) practicing in the areas of Adult Clinical and Adult Neuropsychology. She has an assessment-focused private practice in Regina, Saskatchewan dedicated to helping people and organizations determine individuals’ strengths and abilities, weaknesses or impairments, diagnoses, treatment plans, best-matches in employment, therapy recommendations, and to assist care givers in making decisions such as community referral, placement, deployment, return to work, and return to play decisions. She frequently works with PhD psychology students who learn to administer a wide range of assessments.
Dr. Owens has worked with individuals from late-adolescence to the very elderly. Individuals are referred by a range of organizations and employers such as SGI, WCB, DND, RCMP, and RPS.
Dr. Owens provides clinical supervision and training to psychology interns, practicum students, residents, psychiatry, and provisionally registered psychologists. Dr. Owens has taught psychology at every level, instructing at the University of Regina, Campion College, Luther College, and McMaster University. She is an adjunct faculty member with the Graduate Studies and Research at the University of Regina and with the Faculty of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan.
Dr. Owens has had the opportunity to serve as a volunteer in Regina as well as in some very unique and challenging environments such as Ukraine, Tanzania, Haiti, and Somalia.
