Dr. Gallant is a registered doctoral psychologist with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists and has her Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE), which allows her to diagnose psychological disorders. She practices in the areas of Adult/Older Adult Clinical Psychology and Adult/Older Adult Health & Rehabilitation Psychology.

 

Dr. Gallant completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Regina. As part of her training, she also completed a 1-year Pre-Doctoral Clinical Psychology Internship in the Health & Rehabilitation Track with The Ottawa Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario. Dr. Gallant has worked with individuals living with chronic disease such as cancer, chronic pain, dementia, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. She has also worked with individuals who have recently experienced a work or motor vehicle accident or a critical illness (such as cirrhosis, meningitis, pancreatitis, and stroke) involving hospitalization.

 

Her current practice is focused on the assessment of anxiety, mood, personality, and trauma- and stressor-related disorders as well as ADHD assessments. She currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in assessments, clinical psychology, and health psychology at the University of Regina.

 

In her spare time, Dr. Gallant enjoys spending time with her giant cat, trying out new recipes, and playing board games with friends.
